Moving to another country can be quite complicated. Apart from all bureaucracy, even something like finding an apartment, a job, a car or furniture can be a problem when you don’t know the country’s culture and where to look for that stuff.
Vende is a recently launched free ads site in Peru and can be a good and cheap solution to the problem of finding everything needed to get going. Vende it’s part of an international network of free ads sites and is based on a peculiar concept: the site is made with the easiest user experience possible in mind. This means that it is possible to insert an ad in just a bunch of clicks - and without any registration required - and that both searching and browsing are made to be as simple as possible.
As Vende is made mostly for local hand-to-hand transactions, the site is divided in regions rather than in categories as most other free ads sites are. This makes it much easier to search for specific local things such as, for example, apartments in Lima. The site also has a both a job section and a private lessons section, which could be ideal for those who want to work as teachers to maintain themselves in Peru. Vende was launched during summer of 2010 by the Norwegian company Schibsted.
