Peru is a
melting pot of different cultures and customs, but unfortunately sometimes they clash. La Paisana (Peasant) Jacinta, was a Peruvian woman portrayed by a man. She would dress in typical Peruvian clothing. Toothless, dirty, and uneducated, she did not portray
cholos (typical Peruvians) in a positive light. The character was pulled but not before people starting shaming Frequencia Latina.
